Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 28 June 2026
These are general website terms, not a service agreement. Any engagement is governed by a separate written contract. Have these terms reviewed by a qualified lawyer before relying on them.
By accessing argenis.dev (the "Site") you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Purpose of the Site
The Site is the personal portfolio of Argenis, a freelance full-stack developer. Its content is provided for general information and to let you get in touch about potential work. It does not constitute a binding offer.
2. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — text, code samples, design, graphics and logos — is owned by Argenis or used with permission, and is protected by copyright and other laws. You may not copy, reproduce or redistribute it without prior written consent. Third-party trademarks (e.g. framework logos) belong to their respective owners.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Site for any unlawful purpose;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access, disrupt or overload the Site;
- submit false, abusive or spam content through the contact form;
- scrape or harvest data in breach of applicable law.
4. Contact form & engagements
Submitting the contact form starts a conversation only. No project, deliverable, timeline or price is agreed until set out in a separate written agreement signed by both parties.
5. External links
The Site may link to third-party websites (e.g. GitHub, LinkedIn, course platforms). I am not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.
6. Disclaimer & liability
The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the Site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal and the European Union. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Portugal, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules.
8. Changes & contact
I may update these terms; the "last updated" date reflects the current version. Questions? Email info@argenis.dev.
